The Hoggz

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

The Hoggz … the most entertaining covers band around (who I used to play with 7 years ago (am I that old!!)) recently lost a guitarist so I’m currently depping for them.

Had a couple of gigs already, with more in the imminent future:

  • 20th November - Worcester Rugby Club
  • 27th November - O’Neills, St Albans
  • 28th November - The Red House, Croxley Green
  • 6th December - The White Hart, Hemel Hempstead
  • 12th December - World Upside Down, Raunds
  • 18th December - O’Neills, St Albans
  • Originals

I was recently approached by a singer / song writer / guitarist to get involved with a major project he’s putting together.

An album is written, a band is in place and it looks like 2010 will be a big year for this band.

More details as they become available …

    Sonant

    Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Am working with the lovely Alix Covenant to get the Sonant project off the ground.
Song writing is going well and I have recently been in talks with a bass player and a drummer … so watch this space.

    The Hazards

    Sunday, November 29th, 2009

I recently joined a covers band - The Hazards - playing chilli peppers, rage against the machine, kings of leon and the likes …

… is great to get the JS1000 out and put it through its paces.

First gig is at Watlington on 19th December 2009

    Solo gigs and album

    Sunday, November 29th, 2009

OK … so I’ve been a bit lapse about updating the website recently! It’s been a busy few months.

I did a solo gig at St Christopher’s Hospice in South London and played at a wedding in a gorgeous stone church at Stazzema in the Tuscan hills of Italy.

    Both were fantastic experiences!

I’ve also been getting excellent feedback on the 100 or so albums I’ve got out there in the wild.
